On October 15, the 140th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) officially opened at the China Import and Export Fair Complex (Canton Fair Complex) in Guangzhou. As a key window for China’s opening-up and an important platform for international trade cooperation, this edition brings together buyers from around the world, creating opportunities for Chinese enterprises to deepen international exchanges and expand overseas markets. FORTHING, a brand of Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor Co., Ltd. (DFLZM), showcased its new energy vehicles at the exhibition, presenting to global buyers the development achievements and technical strength of Chinese automotive brands in the new energy sector through innovative products and diversified mobility solutions.

DFLZM’s FORTHING exhibited its two main new energy models, the TK5 and TK7, demonstrating battery electric and plug-in hybrid passenger vehicles developed for export markets to overseas dealers and traders.

On the opening day, Zou Zhanye, Director-General of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Department of Commerce; Lei Zhonghua, Director of the Foreign Trade Division, Guangxi Department of Commerce; and Zhang Sihong, Deputy Secretary-General of the Canton Fair, along with their delegations visited the FORTHING booth for an inspection and guidance. Wen Hua, Deputy General Manager of DFLZM Import & Export Company, gave an introduction covering product design, powertrain performance, driving and riding experience, and application scenarios. The visiting officials took note of FORTHING’s efforts in advancing new energy transformation and continuously improving product competitiveness, expressing expectations for the company to further expand international markets and deepen overseas cooperation.

At the booth, FORTHING presented the core advantages of its new energy products to buyers from various countries and regions through vehicle displays, product briefings and interactive exchanges. The sales team tailored introductions to consumer preferences and practical vehicle needs across different markets, highlighting the powertrain, interior space, comfort features and use cases to help buyers gain a deeper understanding of product features and market adaptability.

As of October 16, the FORTHING booth has welcomed over 5,000 visitors, with more than 1,000 buyers engaging in on-site interactions. Some overseas buyers and enterprises have held preliminary discussions on product introduction and market agency, with specific cooperation to be further developed through follow-up business negotiations.

The Canton Fair is not only an important stage for product display but also a key link for enterprises to understand international market demand and promote trade cooperation. Through this exhibition, FORTHING has actively engaged with overseas buyers, gaining insights into market conditions, user needs and cooperation directions across different countries and regions, and accumulating market intelligence and partnership resources for future overseas business expansion.

Looking ahead, FORTHING will remain committed to a market-driven approach, advancing new energy technology R&D and product innovation, and continuously improving product quality and market adaptability. At the same time, the company will further deepen international exchanges and cooperation, refine its overseas market presence, and actively participate in global automotive industry cooperation with products and services better tailored to local needs, injecting sustained momentum into the global expansion of Chinese automotive brands.
